Hello! Thank you for coming here to read a little bit about me.
My name is Hannah Williams (she/her). In 2018 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Intermingled with overwhelming love and joy I experienced stages of anxiety, depression, depletion and exhaustion. This was truly unexpected for me because I felt prepared, having read countless books, taken early childhood education courses and had experience as a nanny. I had always been high functioning with multiple jobs and been able to do everything I wanted to do on my own.
In order for me to climb out of the postpartum fog I had to learn how to ask for help and how to slow down. I had to discover what rituals nourished me and what self care truly looked like, because how I coped previously did not work for me in this new role. Over and over I hear others with this same story.
The birth of my daughter rocked me to my core in a way that I would have never imagined. As scary and hard as that first year was, I am eternally grateful for her and the path she launched me on. Without motherhood I would have never truly known myself. My journey led me to find my true calling and I will never look back.
My mission is to support new mothers while they recover and be a guide while they learn how to care for their newborns THEIR way and how to truly care for themselves. I believe the 4th trimester should be dedicated to bonding, sleep, lactation, and recovery.
I can’t wait to meet your family and support you on your postpartum journey! Below are some pictures of myself and my daughter :)
